Join to Technorati and Improving The Rankings

Many bloggers has known well Technorati as a search engine for blogs. I read a news that Technorati has indexed over 75 million blogs as of April 2007. Technorati provides real-time search for user-generated media (Include Blogs) by tag or keyword. Another feature and specially is called “Authority”. Technorati provides a popularity ranking for blog. The higher the "Authority" of your blog the more popular your blog is.

1. Create a lot of contents.
Don’t forget writing more and more contents. Please be creative and informative. The more contents you create, the higher chances your blog will get higher ranking in Technorati. This is essential thing for you to get good ranks.

2. Leave Comments in Blogs.
You can leave comments in blogs of other people. Don’t just say “Hi” in their comments box but comment about what they discuss about even though you write a short opinion but it doesn’t really matter . This way will help you get more friends and some of them might add your
blog to their favorite too.

3. Backlinks To your Blog.
Ask others to link to your blog in exchange for links to their site or blog. This will increase your rank and is easy
and builds up the social network.

4. Ask for "Favourite" at Technorati.
Another way is that
you can go to find for blogs that have the same topics with your blog then add them as your favorite. After doing so, you need to pay a visit to the blogs you favorite in Technorati. Then, go to "Comments" to tell the author that you add them to your favourite and ask them to visit your blog to add your blog to their favorite.

5. Social Bookmarking.
Social bookmarking like Mybloglog, Digg, Del.icio.us and so on can be used to help you get more traffic and backlinks. Use them and get higher in ranking.

6. Increase your Traffic .
The traffic to your blog is another important factor. You need more traffic. It will help you increase your blog rank very fast
.

Join to Alexa Rankings
This is a ranking system set by alexa.com (a subsidiary of amazon.com ) that basically audits and makes public the frequency of visits on various Web sites. The algorithm according to which Alexa traffic ranking is calculated is simple. It is based on the amount of traffic recorded from users that have the Alexa toolbar installed over a period of three months.

1.
Get a Site Widget an put the widget on your blog. This will let Alexa know the traffic coming into your site.

There are many options about the widget itself. You can choose the best one of them.

RSS Rankings

1.
Fill out your RSS feed URL.
Just addition, Adding RSS Feed of your blog is also useful for improving your traffic. Sometimes some social network ask you to fill out your rss feed into their site, so that they easily track your blog posts. And more, added comments rss feed in our blog and make a recent comments widget into your sidebar. It shows that blog is dynamic.

2. Setup a Feedburner Feed Counter.
It is just little added for our blog. If we put the Feed Counter into
our blog people can see how many people read our posts. More readers makes them curious about our posts.
